He shot him wrapped in a green towel (had just got out of shower and was walking by the front door and saw 2 bucks in the front field) from the front porch. I guess when u live in the woods u are always hunting. 125yd shot while he was trying to fight a smaller buck. Payton decided to break the fight up. Only picture we got since we both had to get gone for school & work.

That don't count if the towel wasn't orange!
Reminds me of growing up in WV - great buck Payton! Congrats!

125-150 yards crossing a thinned pine row. Nose to the ground at a good pace. Didn't have long to judge him. I'm happy with him but wish I would've let him go. Heck of a shot. Was 99% sure I missed him. Nope. Right behind the shoulder where it creases.

Well I am not having any luck yet with the deer but Hogs are a different story. This is one of the largest boar hogs I have ever harvested. Shot him with a TCR 87 rifle in .308cal. High shoulder shot at 125yds and he went straight down. Gonna make some good BBQ. Has some really nice cutters as well.

Ouch! I've heard hogs chopping as a warning and saw a guy that got attacked once after shooting one. He was dragging it to the truck and another hog charged him. Had a buddy lose a finger slapping one while they were catching some wild pigs. Makes me respect your pigs tusk.
