Yo.

I am out of Colorado but I don't stay put. :D

I'll probably be hunting CO (rios), NE (Merriams & easterns), KS (easterns & maybe some hydrids), MT (Merriams), and Wis (easterns).

I should start my season sometime around the last week of March and will probably end it in Wis towards the end of May.

I may need some help getting the picture posting done. I tend to travel a lot and am not always by a computer.

There's 6 on that one gate, remember, one on the other side. :) , don't be knocking my 3 pound ring o master lock keys. I have my key back to the 700 acre tract. Apparently my dear ole dad was nice enough to call the new gov't land owners of the adjoining land and explain to them that it's in everyones best intereste that they don't remove my lock again. Apparently they understand the concept of the 36" master key. :)

Tree rooster, I'm in SE georgia, will be starting the season in a couple of weeks and will be roaming Ga, SC, and FL.

Hi guys, sorry I'm late to the party.

I'm here and alive. Looking forward to heading out to Texas in two weeks to blast a Rio. Cross your fingers.

We just had a hunt for Osceolas with no luck but plan to sneak another few mornings in around a book travel season (booked travel during turkey season...what was I thinking?!?!)

Good luck to all. I hope it's a great season for our team and others.

Hello Team,
Unusually slow start on this end. Knowing how to hunt birds isn't much help when hunting around dangerous hunters on public land. Right when the sun was coming up a couple of morons come into the field where we were set up. After a light flashing exchange they set up in the field under a bush 50 yards away with guns pointing at us. Tried discussing some reason but the reply was "don't shoot in our direction"! Wasn't worried about me pointing.... Anyway it went downhill from there. Plenty of time left.Heading to the woods on Sunday.
Good Luck To All,
Dennis

Let's get on it, gentlemen! Going for a first tomorrow morning. Never killed a bird with a trumpet before but I have my MuddPuppi Boise de Rose on the lanyard ready to do the deed. I feel comfortable enough now to close the deal with a bird.

Good to see everybody posting.

Public land hunting can be frustrating at times but persistence usually pays.

Good luck tomorrow Paul.

Winter came back here today so looks like a little delay of game for me. I will be after em sometime next week though for sure.
