Like David said, black powder season is the best time to be in the woods around here. The bucks are chasing the does hard and not all the does are ready to hold still for 'em. I shoot a T/C Black Diamond .50 with a Leupold VXIII 2.5x8x36 on top. It is a tack driver too. I didn't even take the safety off this Fall because I only saw small bucks.

I killed this 140 inch 8 point buck with it 10 years ago.
