Hi,
I'm Chad from southwest Pennsylvania. Look forward to completing my Grand Slam someday...GSN sounded like a great forum to help me accomplish that goal!

This guy is soo much help to me! I could never repay him for all the tips and guidance he has given me in my pursuit of the Wild Turkey! He even hunted with me for a little over 2 days and endured many many questions I had!

It left off that he is also the ProStaff member for Turkey & Turkey Hunting as well.

My name is Matt and I live in Middle TN. I have been hunting for 26 years, but it was not until last year that I decided to give Turkey Hunting a try. With the help and guidance from STEROIDCHICKEN I was able to take two turkeys during my apprentice season. My first time out I called in two toms and three hens for a buddy and myself and we pulled the double off. I even got some very amateur video footage of the accomplishment! After that I was hooked! I continued to hunt throughout the year and found that it was not always that easy, but I did pull off two more of my things I had on my too do list and I did them in one whack. I got a nice bird on public land with a bow. That was my first season turkey hunting. I put in many hours during the off season reading books, watching videos and practicing my calling. I want to get my grand slam with a gun and a bow. I hope to take one or two other sub species of the turkey this year on my road through the grand slam. (My to do list for this year is to see that STEROIDCHICKEN gets his first TN bird on my watch and to get at least one bird of another sub species than the Eastern.) I hope to complete one slam within the next three years.
