Hurry up and get here, Saturday. I'm chomping at the bit to get going.

I plan to hunt a few counties east of here for Opening Day 4-12-14, then hit some of the smaller local farms before work when I can. I saw a strutter with a pair of hens this morning by the state park.

Right there with you Jim. I have a couple of birds located. Been in the same general area for the last 3 Saturdays when I went to listen. Just hope I can get them to play the game this Saturday. The weather is suppose to be fantastic in my neck of NC, clear high of upper 70s. Hope to be back hope before it gets that warm though. I hope you have one walk in front of your gun. I look forward to seeing your pics. Be safe.
