GobbleNut Bird #1 entered

Post by GobbleNut » Sun Apr 13, 2014 6:46 pm

Managed to get three gobblers on our TN, TX, and OK swing. Two 5-pointers and one that's worth six. I'm entering the 6-pointer, but I'll hope for getting another one here in NM that will get an extra point or two (pretty unlikely with our Merriams that just don't grow long spurs or beards very often).

Fantastic bird Jim!!!! Don't know what I'd do if I killed one with that many beards but I am pretty sure it would involve lots of money going from me to the taxidermist.
