Steger m3500 or Mossy 935

Post by Bro2032 » Sat May 02, 2015 8:06 pm

I've been looking for a new "Dedicated" turkey gun.. I'm looking at the Stoeger M3500, and the Mossberg 935.. Both can be had in camo, with 24" barrel..
I know the 935 had cycling issues with lighter loads, but this will be a "Dedicated" gun, so that's a non-issue..
What are your thoughts on these two guns. The reviews are pretty good on both, but I want to hear what real turkey hunters have to say..

Thanks,
BRO

While hunting I carry: Benelli Nova, pot and diaphram calls, hen decoy, and a heap of anticipation!

I bought a M3500 last year. Used it for ducks last fall and turkeys this spring. No issues at all. Mine has a 28" barrel. A shorter one might be better for a dedicated turkey gun, but I can't complain about the results. Tagged out, 2 toms this spring.
